So about that camera cord...
I was so excited when I checked the mail on Saturday and my new camera cord was there. I ran out to my house and opened the package. Beautiful! I could finally upload some pictures since I have a ton on my camera right now. I sit down and take the cord out of the package. Seriously, I was so excited. I take the little twisty tie that was holding the cord together all wrapped up. I plug the USB drive into the computer. YES! It was finally time to connect the camera. I grab the camera and lift the flap. Wait, it won't go in. WHY WON'T IT GO IN!!!!!! It is too big and it doesn't fit. Wonderful. I am so disappointed. Now, I have to get a new cord. Mega dislike. I guess the picture posts are going to have to wait a little longer.
Since I missed 5 days worth of being thankful, I'll catch up now. First, I am thankful for friends and family. This weekend we had a football party and it was so fun! Even though the Gamecocks lost, it was still fun! Second, I am thankful for the opportunity to go to school. It may not be fun, but it's worth it. Although, I have to admit that my public speaking class right now is a blast! Third, I am thankful for my church. I love it there! I was lucky enough to get to be there when Dr. Page was still there, now we have a great interim in Dr. Cloud. Even though he is leaving soon, our new paster Preacher Jimenez, is going to be awesome. Fourth, I am thankful for technology! I'm on 2 websites that I LOVE. Coastie Chicks and Gymbofriends. I may not know all these women in person, but you talk to them so much, you feel like they are some of your best friends. Plus, I really have met some of the greatest people through facebook. *TRACEY AND HILARY*. We may not talk much anymore, but I still consider them good friends! :) And fifth, I am thankful for my camera. The pictures I have are priceless and I can look back anytime and see how much my sweet little girl has grown in the past 20 months and 29 days. :)

The Weather Channel and Braves Baseball
it when things remind you of when you were little (not that I'm very old now haha). Last night I fell asleep with the Weather Channel on mute. When I woke up this morning it was like deja vu. When I used to stay at my grandparents house when I was little, this is what I woke up to. My nanny would be in the living room drinking coffee and watching the weather channel on mute with the lights off. It just made me think of that this morning!
A couple weekends ago I got to go to an Atlanta Braves game. It was awesome!
I went with my Uncle Eddie, Auntie T, and Megan. It was a sold out game because it was the Bobby Cox tribute. This is (was) his last season so it was crazy packed! We saw some batting practice and I got to see Jair Jurrjens....ahhh. He waved at me and I told him I loved him. Ha. My aunt told him I was his future wife lol. It was funny. This was his reaction :)
We had lunch at a restaurant in Turner Field, and then we went to find our seats. There was a Bobby Cox tribute because this is (was) his last season. There were about 60 former players and coaches there to honor him...including JAVY LOPEZ, my alltime favorite player!!!

Beautiful!!!! Haha. So the game didn't go in our favor, unfortunetly. We actually lost pretty bad, but it was still fun!
Oh yeah... and we tried to be in as many pictures as possible on the Braves website...I think we got to 5 or 6? It was so fun! :)

I Love Fall!
This weekend was great! Friday night we had a get together with some friends. It's always fun when we do stuff. We had a ton of food. I mean literally, a ton. Spaghetti, wings, ham delights, pigs in a blanket, chips, garlic toast, cheese danishes, and volcano cake. Seriously, that's a lot! Not that the guys didn't have any trouble putting down most of it! Anyways, after we ate we played Guesstures.. So fun! I need to get this game!
Saturday, Mom, Paige, Murray, and I went to Niven's Apple Farm and let her play and get a pumpkin. She had fun running around, but boy it was hot!!! It shouldn't be that hot in October. She picked out a little pumpkin, and I got a regular pumpkin. But more about that later :).
After the apple farm, we all went to our friend Tiffany's house so we could watch the CAROLINA GAMECOCKS whoop up on the Crimson Tide. Murray loves playing with her boys Clayton and Colton. She was wide open! Once the game started we watched it. My #19 (then) Gamecocks beat the NUMBER ONE RANKED Alabama... So now, the Cocks are #10! WOOT WOOT!!
Yesterday we went to church and then I cooked with the pumpkin. I can't wait to tell you what I cooked! :)

I know it's been a while since I posted about the journal. But alas, I will finish it this week. I promise. So wanna hear about my week? I'm not sure I can even remember everything, but I'll try!
Monday- Work day. I can't remember what else I did.
Tuesday- Murray and I made sugar cookies! It was fun and I think Murray loved it. We decorated them afterwards.
Wednesday- I had computer class. Murray and I went to my grandparents so that I could work on an excel project I had. I ended up having to go to the school library to finish it though. Class was short. Basically all we had to do was submit our projects. I opted to stay late and finish the project due tomorrow!!
Thursday- I made Maple Syrup Cookies! Yum! They were delicious! I took them to my Public Speaking class.
Friday- Murray and I took my mom to meet her friends because they went to Savannah for the weekend. We went back home and rested for a little while. Later we went and ran errands... well technically I guess it was more fun stuff than errands. We went to Whole Foods, the mall, and then to Paige's. I got Murray THE CUTEST OUTFIT at Gymboree.. it has owls on it. That night Paige, Haley (Ian's girlfriend), and her friend Sam, Murray, and I had a wing party! Yum. We watched Letters to Juliet too. It was pretty fun, but I think I went to sleep by like 11.
Saturday- GAMEDAY! We hung ot at Paige's for a little while. We went home and played for a while. Then we met Auntie T and May-May at the mall. Then we went to Longhorn for dinner and it was sooo good! Murray also got a super cute new Gamecock cheerleader outfit.
Sunday- We went to church on Sunday morning and that was pretty much our whole day!
I think I did pretty good to remember that much! :)

It was so pretty. That was such a fun trip! We almost got locked in a graveyard, we ate chocolate covered apples at midnight, mom jumped on the bed alot. It was so fun! :)

No vampire fights...
BUT I did have a Twilight-themed birthday party! Actually it was a surprise party!!! My birthday was Sunday (I turned 22!) and I wasn't in the greatest of moods. I was a little (ok, a lot) grumpy and did NOT want to do anything. We had a birthday lunch at my grandparents house... super yummy! My Pop makes the YUMMIEST shish kabobs ever, and that's what I asked for. After that we had Twilight cupcakes :)!! I was like YES!!! (I have pictures, but not on the computer of those yet..) After lunch, I really just wanted to go home. My friend Nicole kept trying to talk me into going to the movies or to the mall, but I was like "No, I'm too tired." and kept trying to push it off until today. Since I wouldn't do anything with her, my mom, aunt, and cousin kept trying to get me to go somewhere. I was really frustrated because I just wanted to go home, but no one would let me! I ended up going to my aunt's house so play the wii for a little bit. Suddenly in the middle of Megan playing Guitar Hero with me, she had to leave to go get some sheet music... Seriously??? I was like I am just gonna go on home. So as I was getting Murray's stuff together at my aunt's house, my mom called and invited her and Megan over for cake... Ok that's cool! Megan had already left to go get her music, so Auntie T was going to ride with me and Murray to the house. When I get to the house, my mom met us at the car and walked me to the bungalow. She told me to close my eyes and that she had a surprise for me... to which I replied "Mother, I am not 12." Haha. I walked in and...
Surprise! Twilight everything! Even the movie music was playing in the background. My family knows me well! :) My friends were there and it was a lot of fun. We even had "Italiano" like the Cullens made for Bella the first time she met them... Obsessed much? I think so!!!
Thanks everyone for a great birthday!! I love you guys!!
Blowing out the candles... Isn't the cake gorgeous!
Some of the people there...
Murray and her godfather, Kevin. She missed him!
Looking so cute in her Matilda Jane!

Shop Hop 2010 and the Dillard House
Saturday was a day of adventures for me, Murray, Mom, and Paige. I was supposed to be cleaning and getting some of Murray's old clothes ready for this giant children's consignment sale in August. Instead, we decided to go somewhere fun! My mom loves (I mean LOVES) to quilt and she found out about this things called Carolina Shop Hop where you visit these quilitng stores and you buy a little kit that has the stuff for each block. When you visit all the stores you have enough blocks for an entire quilt. It was actually pretty fun... you got free candy at the places too! Who doesn't love free candy? Haha.
Here is me, Murray, and Mom at our first stop.
Can't you tell how excited I am? :)
Now our second stop was in Franklin, NC. This quilt shop was called...
Yes... You are reading that right. Deb's Cats -N- Quilts. This was a weird store! There was a ton of car fabric and stickers and weird stuff... But nonetheless, we got our papers stamped and registered for the prizes!!
Even Murray was getting in on the BIG FUN we were having!
We went to one more store in Franklin and I LOVED it! It was a super cute store! Paige showed us a little bit of Franklin (and OTTO! O-T-T-O, spell it backwards O-T-T-O haha). She grew up there and her family has a bunch of land there..
This was her grandmother's street. It was pretty cool.
After that we decided to go to Dillard, GA to the Dillard House for lunch. Can we say YUMMO?!?!?! That place is so fantastic! It's family style, so they bring all this food to the table. I completely forgot to take a picture, but it was soo good!
Murray loved being outside! I just don't understand how MY child loves being outside when I hate it so much...
Isn't she a cutie?? :)

Eclipse and July 4th!
and I haven't even got to tell you guys how AMAZING Eclipse was! Seriously it was incredible. I went with Megan and Bethany to see the midnight show on Tuesday night. We went to Paige's house to get ready, and we went a little crazy with the camera...
I am unsure as to why I have a crazy face in this one...
Well anyways... We got to the theater about 7:45 and we were the very FIRST people there to wait for the movie. I was SO excited. A few more people started getting there right after we did, so we weren't the only Twihards there. WELL, as the night progressed more and more people were showing up trying to get in front of us! SERIOUSLY? I was NOT ok with that. I was already slightly (maybe that's an understatement) moody and this was not flying with me. I was REALLY frustrated with the theater too. They didn't set up a line until almost 10, and even then I don't know that it could be called a line. Maybe more like a blob of people surronding the ticket taker. It ended up they didn't even seat you in the actual theater your ticket was for, just by the time. So we ended up with not-so-great seats. The movie was supposed to start at 12:01, but as it turned out it delayed and didn't start until almost 12:10. Needless to say, I will be going to Greenville for the Breaking Dawn movies.
Friday night I colored my hair super dark. Seriously, it's almost black. And I LOVE it. I need some better pictures of it and then I'll put those up.
Saturday night Hannah, Murray, and I went to Red, White, and Boom in downtown Spartanburg. It was pretty fun! There was a lot of patriotic music (which is my favorite of course), food, a few games for kids, and of course fireworks! Murray did SO good! She loved the fireworks. When they would go off she would say "Ohhhhhh". It was quite cute! I forgot to put my memory card in my camera, so I didn't get any pictures.
Sunday was July 4th, which is my favorite holiday. I was excited because I had some friends over on Sunday night to swim and eat and shoot a few fireworks. Eli, Adam, Hannah, Jennifer and Matthew all came over. It was alot of fun! We had a few fireworks to shoot off, so we were messing around with that. Well, we caught a bush on fire. I WISH I had a picture, but I was panicking too bad to take one. Seriously, this was NOT a small fire. Eli and Adam were like lightening trying to put it out! We got it out rather quickly, but not quick enough... Someone called the fire dept. and they came looking for it. When they couldn't find it they stopped to talk to us and see if we knew that they were talking about. Talk about freaking out! Luckily they just checked to make sure it was completely out. It was pretty crazy!
I hope everyone had a great holiday and remembered to thank a troop or veteran. They are the reason we get the chance to celebrate!

Cherokee and Nicole's 21st!
Saturday night was a rough one for me, so on Sunday my mom thought a good way to cheer me up was to take day roadtrip! We went to Cherokee, NC. I was super excited! I really REALLY wanted to see some Indians! So we found this repilca Indian village.
This place was so cool! They had a village set up like it would have been inthe 1790s. We got to visit each little station and watch them do pottery, beadwork, make weapons, make canoes, where they had their tribal councils, and where they did their dancing. The rest of Cherokee was pretty touristy, but it was so
fun.
Monday night was my friend Nicole's 21st birthday! Sarah and Nicole met me at my house and then we headed to downtown Greenville.
This is Nicole with her gifts. Sarah decorated her a glass and I got her a bottle stopper with a "N" on it.
We didn't really want any pictures with Nicole, so we put Sarah's nametag in front of her...
Just kidding... :)
We went to dinner at this AMAZING (seriously, AMAZING) restaurant called Stellar. It was so yummy!!!! And the prices were really reasonable too!
The restaurant gave her free Creme Brulee for dessert. SO Yummy!!!
After dinner we went to Marble Slab. Yes, we went to Marble Slab after dinner AND dessert. It was Nicole's birthday and we did what she wanted!! :)
While we sat and ate our ice cream (and watched the GAMECOCKS dominate UCLA) a fellow USC fan came to our table and wanted to take a picture with us holding his hat... Yes he was weird. But we did it anyways... Hey we're the National Champions!!!!!
He did a terrible job taking the picture. We know.
We went home not too much later. We had an awesome time! Happy Birthday Nicole!!!!!!

Laughter really is the best medicine
...and of course ice cream doesn't hurt either! It's absolutely no fun being sad. Nothing can fix a broken heart but amazing family, best friends, and ice cream sure help. I haven't really done too much this week, but alas, I will try and recap the few highlights.
Thursday- We (as in me, Murray, mom/dad, nanny/pop, auntie T, Megan, Bethany, Ian and his friends, and Peggy... just kidding Paige LOL) went to dinner at Ellen's Deli for Ian's birthday dinner. We LOVE to go to Ellen's! She's the best! Anyways, Ian's birthday isn't until Monday, but we celebrated early since he is in Bulgaria and Greece until July 6 (you can check out THIS website if you want to know what they are doing there). I had some pictures to post but I have currently lost my camera. I've lost my mind the past few days, so bear with me!!!
Friday- Megan, Bethany, Murray, and I went shopping for shirts to wear to the Eclipse premiere! WOOT WOOT! (And by the way, I think everyone should know I do a little dance every time I say "WOOT WOOT"!) I am so beyond excited about seeing this movie. Yes, I may be 21, and yes, I may be a mommy, but I am so obsessed. I love Edward of course, but you see I have this... I don't know... I guess you could say... crush? obsession?... on/of Jasper (and Jackson Rathbone, the actor that plays him!). If you don't believe me, look.
See... I wasn't lying. I really am obsessed. I digress though... I got my shirt to wear for the movie, even though it says Edward and not Jasper since the store I got it was NOT COOL enough to carry the shirt I wanted in store. They were all "Why didn't you order it online?" UMMMM because I didn't want to pay $7 for shipping when I can walk into your store and buy it! Oh well... Friday night I had to work which was no fun, but at least it kept my mind off of things I wanted to forget about.
Saturday-I had a meeting at 9am at work today. Boring, but at least I got paid for it! Murray and I spent the afternoon with Auntie T and Megan. We went to this local dive for lunch, and boy was it YUMMO! Murray was chowing down on the french fries!
She is such a little ham for the camera! :) I love her! She makes everything better.
Tonight I went to dinner with Mom and Paige at Texas Roadhouse. It has quickly become one of my favorite places now. After dinner, I've just been watching the Carolina/Clemson game...which is the whole reason it's taken me almost 45 minutes to write this blog entry!!! BTW, GO COCKS! They won, which means they advance to the College World Series final! WOOT WOOT!! (Did you remember the dance???)
Here's a throwback of my little Gamecock back in September when football season started.
Alright guys, I think this has been a long enough post for tonight. Maybe I will find my camera so I can get some pictures up tomorrow!

Lots of pictures today!
I'm sorry I've been slack the past couple days about posting! Mondays are probably going to be another odd day for me since I work. I was going to update Tuesday, but I ended up working again. So without further ado, here's what has been happening the past few days.
Monday was rather boring. We didn't do too much.
Tuesday May-May (Megan) came over and hung out with me and Murray. Murray LOVES her May-May!!!! They are so funny together! They fight like sisters lol. Megan took a bunch of pictures of her while I got ready for work, so here are a few of those...

My favorite... she's so ferocious!

Today I took Murray swimming! It was so fun! She absolutely loved it! She was splashing me and thought it was hilarious that I was getting water in my face! I didn't get any pictures though because I did not want to drown my camera...
Tonight we went with Sarah to try on bridesmaid dresses! Me and Murray met Sarah, Tammy, Nicole, Tammi, Emily, and Mom at David's Bridal. We lucked out and they had the dress for me and Nicole. It's SO CUTE :) Cole and I had our own little photo shoot in the dressing room. Then we went to Carrabba's with everyone... It's awesome to have such great lifelong friends! :)
Get it girl!

Attractive, I know!
Friends that are family!
LOVE YOU GUYS! CONGRATULATIONS SARAH!! I can't wait to sing at your wedding with Nicole!

Family Time
Today we had Nanny, Pop, and Megan join us for lunch. We had a pretty good time, and I think most of these pictures speak for themselves!

And then the dancing queen put on a show!
