Has it really been a year?

Last year on May 26 I started this blog so my then boyfriend would be able to stay up with everything going on since he was in New Orleans and I was here in SC. I can't believe it's been that long!! I've been TERRIBLE at keeping up with my blog, but I am just going to keep trying! So, what has happened in the past year? I went to NOLA for a second trip in the beginning of June. I thought it was great. But, then there was the giant breakup I had with Chip. That wasn't fun. A year later and I still occasionally get upset about it. It's a big change when you think you'll spend the rest of your life with someone and then they suddenly change their mind... It was hard! But, I have incredible family and friends that helped me through it. PLUS, because of him I  met some of the most amazing people ever! I absolutely consider them some of my best friends! SO, what else? I had a Twilight birthday party, one of my best friends since I was itty bitty got married, had my keys stolen at work, dressed up as Snooks for halloween, saw another friend (and Murray's godfather) get married, got to see Danielle and her sweet family before Christmas, Murray turned 2 which I never blogged about, we went to Universal Studios in Orlando and had SOO much fun and now here we are in May! My sweet little cousin is graduating from high school this week (It's been 5 years since I graduated!!), we're going to DC this weekend, and I already have my next New Orleans trip planned for August!

So, hopefully I can get this blog to be a regular thing for me again!! I miss blogging!!!

 

A jumble of posts!

Ok so I didn't follow through with posting while I was gone like I said I would. Will you forgive me? Pretty please? I'll post lots of pictures if you do... :) Ok thanks!

Up first-our Girl's night slumber party (before my trip).
Tammy, Sarah, Emily, Nicole, Tammi, Murray, and I had a slumber party at the McDonald's house a couple weeks ago. It was alot of fun (except for the fact Murray stayed awake ALL NIGHT!)

No, I don't normally get that dressed up for slumber parties haha. I went to Ashley and Matthew Blanton's wedding earlier that night and didn't have a chance to change.

And Finally, part 3- our trip to New Orleans!

We had a great time with Chip all week! When we got there my phone quit working, so I was phoneless for a few days. If you know me, you KNOW that was a challenge!!!!! We went to Chuck E. Cheese on Thursday with Kristen and Micah! Murray and him we SO CUTE together! They had a blast... and the mommies had fun too! :)

Friday Chip had to drive to Florida for work, so Murray and I went to dinner with the Harper's and their friend Toni.

Murray just LOVES having her picture taken... isn't it obvious? :)

Luckily Chip got to come home Friday night and didn't have to stay in Pensacola. Saturday we went to the aquarium, which was alot of fun! I think Murray really enjoyed it!

Well I guess I have told you enough about our trip for now :) Tonight I am helping throw a bridal shower for my friend Sarah! I work tomorrow, but I will *TRY* my best to get some pics up from the shower!

Oh and PS- I got a recipe from a friend on facebook for Salted Carmel Cupcakes! YUMMO! I hope to try them and get it on here within the next week!

Once Again...

I have been lazy about posting on here... It's not that I don't want to, but I have been really busy! Murray and I left yesterday morning for New Orleans to see Chip. We left around 5 AM (EST)and got here at 1:30 PM (CST)... pretty good time! Murray was so extremely good on the drive down! We drove 4 straight hours from Greer to right across the Alabama state line where we stopped for a few minutes. We got back on the road and drove all the way to Mobile. We had a little picnic lunch, gassed up the car, and took off. Chip was still at work when we got to the house, so after we got our luggage inside we went and saw our friends Kristen and Micah. We're going to Chuck E. Cheese with them today... as soon as Murray wakes up! I probably won't be updating this week a lot, but there should be a few posts... I will be back with full force as soon as we get home next Wednesday!
