Because I know you all are soooo interested in what I did ALL day yesterday, I'll tell you :). Murray got me up around 7:30, so we played for a little bit and watched some Playhouse Disney. I made her french toast for breakfast. I FINALLY got it right! It was my third attempt at making it. I don't know why I had such trouble with it! She was so funny when she was watching me fix it. I was pouring a little syrup on the toast and she started saying "Mmmmmmm"! Haha. We came back to the bungalow and played for a while. I attempted to get her to nap and she refused, so again we played more :). Lunch time came and I fixed Mummy Dogs! They are so cute! It's hot dogs that are wrapped in crescent roll strips to look like mummy's.

 

I know you can't see it too well because I took the picture with my phone, but it gives you an idea! Anyways, moving on. After lunch I convinced her to take a nap! I took a shower and did my makeup. After her nap I got her ready and we went to my grandparents. She played there for a while. I went to work later that afternoon and was there until like 10:15 or so. I came home, ate chicken salad, and went to bed! Interesting day, right/ :)

Alrighty! Today I get to talk about a fictional book I enjoy. I've already talked about Dream When You're Feeling Blue 

and everyone already knows how much I love Twilight, so I will pick something different :). I'm not finished with this book yet so I can't give a review, but I am currently reading L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad. It's supposed to be about a young girl who moves to LA to work but gets hired for a reality show... sound familiar?? (for those of you that DON'T know, Lauren Conrad, or LC, was on 2 little reality shows. Laguna Beach and The Hills.) It's pretty good so far! I'm about halfway through, so when I finish I'll write more about it :).

Haha. I hope you all are having a good week so far! Sorry I have been so slack in blogging lately. I haven't really had anything exciting going on.

Oh Murray can say alligator now! It's so cute. I'm going to try and video her saying it later and post it. Oh and I'm making Lasagna cupcakes for dinner, so you know I have to put some pictures up of that :)

Shop Hop 2010 and the Dillard House

Saturday was a day of adventures for me, Murray, Mom, and Paige. I was supposed to be cleaning and getting some of Murray's old clothes ready for this giant children's consignment sale in August. Instead, we decided to go somewhere fun! My mom loves (I mean LOVES) to quilt and she found out about this things called Carolina Shop Hop where you visit these quilitng stores and you buy a little kit that has the stuff for each block. When you visit all the stores you have enough blocks for an entire quilt. It was actually pretty fun... you got free candy at the places too! Who doesn't love free candy? Haha.

Now our second stop was in Franklin, NC. This quilt shop was called...

Yes... You are reading that right. Deb's Cats -N- Quilts. This was a weird store! There was a ton of car fabric and stickers and weird stuff... But nonetheless, we got our papers stamped and registered for the prizes!!

Even Murray was getting in on the BIG FUN we were having!

We went to one more store in Franklin and I LOVED it! It was a super cute store! Paige showed us a little bit of Franklin (and OTTO! O-T-T-O, spell it backwards O-T-T-O haha). She grew up there and her family has a bunch of land there..

This was her grandmother's street. It was pretty cool.

After that we decided to go to Dillard, GA to the Dillard House for lunch. Can we say YUMMO?!?!?! That place is so fantastic! It's family style, so they bring all this food to the table. I completely forgot to take a picture, but it was soo good!

Murray loved being outside! I just don't understand how MY child loves being outside when I hate it so much...
